Lewis Reed take a number of vehicles and lower the floor by cutting out the original and re-fitting it with a superb quality lowered conversion. We attached to this our light weight unique easy to use TorSpring® ramp rear access system or lightweight portaramp.

The unique TorSpring® one piece ramp is finished to the highest standard so it not only looks good, but is also importantly free from internal or exterior rattles or noises when in transit. It allows easy and stress free low level entry into the rear of the vehicle.

Lowered levelled floors for front wheelchair passengers and wheelchair drivers – unique to Lewis Reed

We are able to lower and level either/both the front wheelchair position and the wheelchair driver position on our VW Cruiser MKIII, Shuttle and Caravelle SE and Executive. This allows the wheelchair user to sit in a lowered position and on a flat floor preventing being on an angle. This gives a far better seating and driving position.
